Toddler Sessions Are Coming To Oak Tree!
Oak Tree Leisure Centre is delighted to be hosting an exciting new Toddlers programme - aimed at bringing the fun to Mansfield!
The site is utilising its space to create a toddler paradise full of wonder, entertainment, and fun. We offer a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for children to explore!
Baby interaction sessions will run on Monday and Wednesdays (starting October 2nd) and will aim to get the minds of those little explorers active through sensory and social play. Soft play & bouncy castle sessions will run for four days a week, and these are a great way to bond with your child. These sessions feature a vibrant bouncy castle, diverse soft play equipment and is a dedicated space for crawlers and early walkers.
Parent and pushchair sessions will also be available, and these classes aim to help nudge new parents into gentle exercise. Using the pushchair, we’ll walk through the class so your little one is with you the whole time! These sessions are a harmonious mix, of rejuvenation for parents and a joyous experience for the kids!
We’ve also listened to customer feedback and will now be running Junior Football sessions on our all-weather 4G pitch. Children aged 4-10 years old can learn the beautiful game in a safe and fun environment. Whilst in November, Junior Zumba classes will be starting, so watch this space for more info!
Adam Spooner, Senior Duty Manager at Oak Tree, said: “We’re so excited to be launching our new toddler initiative here at Oak Tree Leisure Centre.
“Our baby interaction sessions are designed to provide a rich and engaging environment for infants to explore and learn about the world around them. We aim to promote their overall development and well-being through play.
“Our Parent and Pushchair sessions will help ease mums into gentle exercise, and it’ll also give them a chance to share experiences and socialise with new-mums going through the trials and tribulations of parenthood.
“We’re also excited for the Junior Football and, launching in November, our Junior Zumba lessons.
“We really want Oak Tree to be the go-to destination for your little explorers."
Emma Evans will be running the Baby Interaction sessions, she said: “I’m really, really excited to be running these sessions. I think they will be great for the families in our local community.
“They will be fun and socially engaging in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment.”
