Workout classes are a great way to achieve your health and fitness goals. Studies show that exercising in a group means people are far more likely to stay motivated and hit the targets they've set themselves.

Workout classes take place across all five leisure centres and the classes offered at each centre vary.  Please view the workout timetable for details.

Exercise classes at River Maun


Boot camp 
Is designed to build strength and fitness through a variety of intense group intervals over a 1-hour period of time.
DanceX
A taste of different dance styles with simple dance movements to various rhythms; including Latin American, Zumba™ and Hula.

Clubbercise

BRINGING A NIGHT OUT TO YOUR WORKOUT!

Fun easy-to-follow dance workout with rave glow sticks & disco lights.

Clubbercise® classes are taught in a darkened room with disco lights and our trademark LED glow sticks set to a soundtrack of old and new club hits. A fusion of dance, toning and combat moves with high/low impact options for all fitness levels, one class burns around 600 calories.

Indoor Group Cycling
Try our spin on indoor cycling. This Instructor led stationary cycle class includes hills, sprints and interval training. The atmosphere is so good, you'll forget you're working so hard!
Forever Fit
New to exercise? Why not join us to try out a range of different activities, from gentle aerobics to badminton.
Pilates
Work your core to build flexibility and strength. This is a work out for the body and the mind.
Legs, Bums & Tums
Body conditioning for those troublesome areas using dumb-bells and resistance.
Step Aerobics
Step on up with this high intensity, low impact workout.
PiYo
A hybrid, athletic workout, which combines the mind/body practices of yoga and Pilates.
Zumba®
Is a fusion of Latin and International music / dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO."
Swing into Shape
Low impact aerobic exercise performed to music. It is a great exercise for all abilities particularly the more mature or those that are new to exercise.
Yoga
Ultimate workout for mind and body to relax, stretch and ease those achy muscles.
